The Workshop solicits two types of original papers: (a) full papers and
(b) short papers such as work-in-progress or position-papers. Submitted papers must not substantially duplicate previously published work or have been submitted in parallel to any journal, conference or workshop with proceedings.

Papers submitted to ITSS should be in pdf and follow the IEEE CPS format, according to the general Instructions for Authors of IISA 2016.

Information Technology has become increasingly pervasive in everyday life.
It has empowered people from different sectors of society. People interact with one another through various information systems in all sorts of media such as text, sound, or video. This greater connectivity among individuals have also ushered different applications and services in the areas of telecommunications, governance, health, education, business transactions, entertainment and social services.

With information technology becoming central to each of these systems and services, there arises wide variety of issues such as usability, performance, security, adaptability and personalization, concurrency and integrity of data. Careful analysis and establishment of standards and protocols are inherent to address this variety of issues. Emerging trends and advances on how these systems and services are best delivered to the users is also of great interest.

The goal of this special Workshop is to bring together academic researchers and industry practitioners to discuss the different relevant issues pertaining to the information technology systems and services mentioned.

Please see IISA 2016 Instructions for Authors page for appropriate templates, in both Latex and MS Word environments. Papers for ITSS should be submitted through the general IISA2016 paper submission system (EasyChair).
All submissions will be blind-reviewed. The reviewers are not required to read possible appendices. Papers must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or obvious references. Papers will be submitted in pdf format using the EasyChair conference management system.

Important notice: While submitting a paper for ITSS login to the EasyChair system, select appropriate TRACK on the easychair system and then check the ITSS Workshop Group box below the abstract section, otherwise the paper will not be marked as a ITSS paper submission.

Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Proceedings of IISA2016 and will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library (IEL, http://ieeexplore.ieee.org). Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference. Clear instructions for the preparation of a final proceedings version will be sent to the authors of accepted papers.
In addition, best papers of the ITSS will be considered for publication in the SpringerPlus Journal (Springer).
